Progress Planning was appointed by Antler Homes plc to deliver both planning and architectural services for the redevelopment of an allocated Gypsy and Traveller site within designated Green Belt land in Sarratt.

The proposal seeks permission for 20 high-quality residential dwellings, designed to respond sensitively to the rural setting while optimising the site’s capacity. Our role included full planning consultancy and architectural design, from site appraisal and concept development to the coordination of specialist consultants and preparation of a comprehensive planning submission.

Key challenges included navigating Green Belt policy, addressing the site’s planning history, and creating a design that balanced local policy requirements with our client’s commercial objectives. The result is a scheme that demonstrates our ability to unlock complex sites while delivering considered, high-quality development.
