Westcombe House appeal

01 Mar Westcombe House appeal

Progress has won a far-reaching appeal last week to allow 7 units to be built in the undercroft of Westcombe House, Uxbridge. Although in itself, a modest scaled development, the principle that this decision sets is pivotal, as if applied on other residential development, it has the potential to resolve similar issues that are commonly raised during planning and allow sites to be maximised. The Inspector agreed with Progress’s assessment and interpretation of the Mayor of London’s Housing SPG with regards to access to outlook and daylight for future residents.
